The hotel was within walking distance from the Magic Kingdom.
The monorail was in an adjacent hotel.
Vacationed with Holly, Andy, Kylie, Grayson, and Rosie.
Vacationed during Halloween week.
Saw costumed families fill the park.
Saw costumed children ‘trick or treating’ at hotel help desks and sales counters.
Saw fireworks every night right out of our hotel windows.
Lucked out during a week of lower attendance.
Lucked out as storm Sandy had already slid by up the eastern coast.
The weather made for sunny skies and cool temps.
The weather made for layered clothes to shed as temps moved about.

Sure, reward yourself as we did. Stay with family- on the grounds. Plan more than a few days. Spend for food and entertaiment. But try to window shop the stores.
